Mother’s Day Weekend Walking Tour: Unconventional Mothers (5/12)

Join the San Francisco Historical Society and the Downtown SF Partnership for a Mother-themed walking tour with twists. You’ll hear stories about unconventional San Francisco women including: a landmark preservationist; a cigar-smoking, crossdresser entertainer; a dancer turned presidential poet; a rescuer of enslaved children and more! The tour will stop at Maison Nico for a treat (could be croissant or canelé) and drink that we will enjoy on Landing at Leidesdorff. The walk does include some hills.

Cost: $30 for general public; $10 for SFHS Members using emailed discount code
Tours start at the San Francisco Historical Society Museum at 608 Commercial Street in the heart of the Financial District. The tour will end at 1PM at Maison Nico where we’ll enjoy a croissant and drink together (included in tour price).
Please note that heavy rains or not meeting 5 person minimum will cancel the tour. SFHS will notify guests of cancellation 24 hrs prior with options to reschedule or refund.
