MONTHLY PROGRAM

Tiffany Chen and Danielle Thibodeau

Anaheim and Orlando are cities that have become synonymous with the Disney name, but did Walt Disney have a meaningful connection to San Francisco, as well? The Walt Disney Family Museum (waltdisney.org) located in the Presidio of San Francisco, will share the links between the legendary man of entertainment and the Bay Area. Featuring imagery from the 1930s to 1960s, speakers Tiffany Chen and Danielle Thibodeau will describe an assortment of Walt’s adventures to northern California, including Walt’s visit to the 1939 Golden Gate International Exposition, the Geary Theater, and more.

Tiffany Chen is the school and outreach coordinator and Danielle Thibodeau is the school assistant at the Walt Disney Family Museum. Photo courtesy of Frank Anzalone Photography, the Walt Disney Family Museum.
