SFHS/CITY GUIDES TOUR

How many times have you walked around the four Embarcadero Center buildings and wondered about the fascinating pieces of public art on display there? In 1979 more than $1 million was spent on their purchase. SFHS member Karla Jones has researched the art and artists. During this 90-minute tour, she will share the history of the Embarcadero Center and information about each piece — the artist and when it was made. If time allows, she will also share the public art available as part of other nearby buildings. The tour is limited to 30 walkers, so you must RSVP.
