SFHS/CITY GUIDES TOUR

Explore San Francisco’s first “suburb,” which evolved from a Victorian playground to a post-1906 earthquake and fire refugee camp, and ultimately became the home of the hippies, Janis Joplin, the Grateful Dead, Hell’s Angels, and Charles Manson. The tour is somewhat strenuous, as we walk into hilly Buena Vista Park.

Guide: Michael Meadows
